Accommodation at Hill Farm
Bed & Breakfast accommodation is available in comfortable double or twin-bedded rooms. Packed lunches and evening meals can also be provided
Special Dietary requirements can be catered for.
Examples of meals at Hill Farm:
Breakfast would be fruit, cereal, yoghurt, juice, full English breakfast, tea or coffee or any other dietary requirements. Packed Lunch: weekly menu would be determined to include, for example, salad box with a selection of cold meats; pasta with olives and feta cheese; quiche with a variety of fillings - these three options with a bread roll and butter; or sandwiches of home made bread with a variety of fillings - West Monkton eggs, cheddar cheese with home made pickle, tuna or prawn mayonnaise. These options would be accompanied by a piece of homemade cake and a piece of fruit. Presented in biodegradable disposable cartons, with napkin and fork, and (we hope to arrange) carried each day in a basket or mini hamper made by the willow makers at Meare Green. If guests wanted to take the basket home with them, there would be a small charge to cover replacement costs. Evening Meal would be a two course set menu
(again taking into account dietary requirements) either a starter and main course or main course and dessert, depending on my baking, the weather and what I see in the market!!! Essentially this would be on the lines of meat/fish with two or three vegetables. Simple starters - soup, grilled haloumi, pate and toast, simple desserts - gateaux, fruit salad, ice cream. Home made or home grown wherever possible. Served with Hill Farm spring water. If guests wanted wine we could buy it on their behalf so they would have it in the evening but would not have to concern themselves with shopping for it.
Extras · For guests without a car we are able to arrange for pickup at railway station or airport · We can also, as part of your Westcountry Wellbeing break, arrange visits to places of interest. · Cost will of course vary – please enquire about these additional services
(travel and holiday insurance not included) The above is just an example, there are of course many variations to suit your needs.
